“Vida” “The L Word Generation Q” “Booksmart” and more pick up GLAAD Award nominations

It’s feeling very 2005 today, because The L Word is once again a nominee for Outstanding Drama Series for the GLAAD Awards. The media watchdog organization announced their full list of nominees today that will be awarded over three ceremonies this spring.

The L Word joins a lineup that includes fan favs Killing Eve, Batwoman, and Euphoria. STARZ charmer Vida is nominated in the Outstanding Comedy Series category (though that categorization is up for debate, just like OITNB) along with newbies Dickinson and Work in Progress, among others. Amar a Muerte, home of the beloved Juliantina is up for Outstanding Spanish-Language Scripted Television Series.

In the Wide Release Film category, the plucky Booksmart is up against Bombshell, Downton Abbey, Judy, and Rocketman. The Outstanding Film – Limited Release category will be a real tight race with titles like Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Rafiki, and The Heiresses among others competing for the title.

You can check out the full list on award categories and nominees here or check out the video below. Congrats to all the nominees.
