Catherine Maiorisi’s fourth Chiara Corelli mystery Legacy in the Blood continues to get raves. Betty Harmon at Rainbow Reflection gives it a 5 out of 5 and says: “This is the best mystery/police procedural novel I’ve read this year.” Bonnie Sherrard over at NetGalley says: “Had a very hard time putting this aside so I didn’t. Great characters, interesting fast paced murder mystery.” While Sam den Brave over at Netgalley says: “I love how layered these characters are and how they are evolving from book to book.” Claire Estelle also at Netgalley says: “An intricate story well told.”

Beyond the Blue a debut romance by TJ O’Shea continues to collect raves. Teddy Thomas at Netgalley gives it a 5 out of 5 and says: “I was really impressed by this debut novel from T.J. O’Shea. She is masterful with metaphors. I was drawn in by the characters individual stories and held by their romance.”
Cheryl Shrock from Netgalley also gives it a 5 out of 5 and gushes: “It is a very thoughtful, interesting and warm story.” Sam den Brave at Netgalley says: “This book is very moving and the author wrote some beautiful lines about loss and dealing with it. And the void, but also what comes after the void of losing someone, opening up again for love, and to start fully living again.” Ann Maguire at Netgalley says: “I believe this is TJ O’Shea’s first book and I genuinely hope many more follow if this is an indication of her writing style and imagination. This is an excellent book with rounded, likeable characters who behave like human beings, mistakes included.” Kennedy O at NetGalley also gave it a 5 out of 5 and raved: I was captivated from the beginning of the read. The setting and the characters were so well written. The emotional story of two women dealing with past and current issues was a draw for me.”

Radiant a debut romance by Judy Sapphire gets love from Alicia Elswick at NetGalley has us blushing: “Its a wonderful book from a new author. The details in this book are great and makes the reader really feel a part of the book. I enjoyed the book and the sex scenes were amazing. Check this book out! Betty Harmon over at Rainbow Connections says of Radiant: “I’m quite impressed with this debut novel and will be looking for more from this author. If you love a good enemies-to-lovers tale with great characters and lots of angst, try this book.” Bonnie Sherrard over at NetGalley says: “This is Ms Sapphire’s first book and she has done a remarkable job writing a story with interesting characters following a smart plot. Simply a very nice read.”

Two Knights Tango by Tagan Shepard is also getting a lot of attention. Betty Harmon over at Rainbow Connections gives it a 5 out of 5 and says: “Two Knights Tango is the second novel in the “Queen of Humboldt Series” by Tagan Shepard. I’ve been looking forward to this book since I read the first novel, Queen of Humboldt. I’m happy to say the story is equally as exciting as the first one.” Karen Cobb over at NetGalley also gives it a 5 out of 5 and says: “I haven’t been in the mood to read much lately, so I waited to read this until I had a vacation day so I wouldn’t have to put it down. This book lived up to every one of my expectations.” Anne Macguire at Netgalley says: “Good writing, pacing, intrigue, and some humour… how could you not enjoy this?” Bonnie Sherrard at NetGalley says: “I really love Ms Shepard’s writing but when she’s writing about Marisol Sabrina and their lives she goes to another level. Couldn’t put ‘Two Knights’ down.”

The Roads Left Behind Us by Kat Jackson is getting some early love. Orlando Javelin at Netgalley says: “This is a dream of a novel, cementing Kat Jackson’s status as one of my favourite writers out there at the moment, and an automatic purchase.” Cheryl Shrock gives it a 5 out of 5 and says: “The writing is beautifully filled with so much emotion and intelligent dialog, I was sad when it ended. My heart flipped several times.”

Training for Love by Amanda Kabak also is getting some early applause. Abbott Ford over at Netgalley gives it a 5 out of 5 and says: “This book is wonderfully written, the characters are well drawn, likable, and complex. The pacing is perfect.”

Red Tide at Heron Bay by Gerri Hill continues to receive raves. Deb M. at Netgalley gushes: “Gerri Hill is a master storyteller; readers always look forward to her new books. Why? Because she’ s in a league of her own when it comes to blending romance and crime. Red Tide at Heron Bay is no exception. It’s the perfect mix of romance, crime, and drama. What’s more, it has a light-heartedness to it that makes it quite fun.”
