Portrait of a Lady on Fire is finally showing in theaters! Take your sweetie or just yourself to see this magnificent film that’s been lingering on the festival circuit for ages. It’s now in wide release across the country and Canada.
Olivia, the classic novel by Dorothy Strachey is being rereleased as a Penguin Classic. The novella tells the story of a teenage girl’s crush on her finishing school teacher, Mademoiselle Julie, was originally published in 1949. The new Penguin Classics edition hits shelves June 9th.
House Hunters featured the show’s first poly couple this week. Brian, Lori, and Geli are a throuple from Texas who has decided to move to Colorado with their two children. The trio talks candidly on the HGTV show about opening their relationship, Lori’s bisexuality, and the unique challenges of finding a space that three adults can share.
Actress Maria Bello and chef Dominique Crenn are engaged! Congrats to this power couple who announced their engagement this week. Bello famously came out as sexually fluid in an New York Times op-ed in 2013, and Crenn is a James Beard Award and Michelin star winning chef.
