There’s lesbianing in Bombshell! Bombshell is the new movie about the female anchors who exposed an environment of sexual harassment at Fox News. In the film, Kate McKinnon plays a closeted lesbian (and democrat) who falls into a relationship with new Fox hire Kayla, played by Margot Robbie.

The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team is Time’s Athlete of the Year. Congrats to Team USA which includes out players Megan Rapinoe, Ashlyn Harris, Ali Krieger, Adrianna Franch and Kelley O’Hara.

BIFL the series hits Youtube. This queer created webseries follows a group of friends and their interconnected-ness, crushes, and loves – both unrequited and returned.

Swe Zin Htet of Myanmar was Miss Universe’s first openly gay contestant. The 21 year old did not take home the title, but did raise awareness of the situation for LGBTQ people in her home country. Htet wants to use her platform to help decriminalized homosexuality in Myanmar.
