Earlier this year, actress/singer Alyson Stoner (most well known for her Disney tween roles and dancing roles) came out in a big way with an essay in Teen Vogue. Now Stoner is showing fans that 20Gayteen is still going strong. In her new video, Fool, Stoner gives us a heartfelt love song (and a bit of a bop, honestly) and reveals she’s been singing about a Princess Charming the whole time. The video, which takes place at a beach house (with lots of flowy white fabric) features Stoner preparing for a party and swooning over her love. The love interest in question is played by Jazzmyne Robbins, a openly queer plus-sized fashion model and video producer.
The video is sweet and playful, and will help put Stoner on the same path as other out and proud queer pop artists like Hayley Kiyoko and Kehlani.
